The Game
The vendors will also be playing a special variant of Texas Hold'em. If you aren't familiar with the game, here is a brief overview. Obviously the internet offers a plethora of information on the rules and the strategy and even on-line games you can play with opponents around the world.
The game begins with each player getting two cards ... that only they can see. These cards are called the "hole". The players place a bet on these cards. The next three cards are community cards and are dealt face up in the middle of the table and count towards everyone's hand. These cards are call the "flop". The players bet again. They can check (pass), make the minimum bet, increase the bet or fold (although this is strongly discouraged at the AAPM). If one player raises the bet, all the other players have to match it to stay in the game ... or fold (again, strongly discouraged). Another card, called the "turn" is dealt face up, followed by another round of betting. Finally a fifth community card, the "river" is dealt face up followed by a final round of betting. The best hand for a player is the best five out of seven cards (two hole cards and five community cards ).
Here's the kicker! ...
We aren't playing with a standard card deck - we have an Adaptive Radiotherapy Deck! Just like a regular deck, there are 4 suits, hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. But unlike a normal deck with 2-10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace - these cards have the tools needed for Adaptive RT and YOU the audience are going to decide what value the cards have. Is auto-segmentation the ACE? Is an automated workflow the Ace? Using a smartphone and online polling, the audience will rank these features in terms of importance and the vendors will have the opportunity, through their presentations, to convince everyone that the tools that they are working on are the most important.
At the end of the each round, features from that round (that are used in the deck) will be translated into numbers. After the final round, final betting and final polling, we will see who wins the AAPM Texas Hold'em ,,, poker game!

NOTE: Round 1 will be skipped, the Manage Approvals card is the 2 card.
