Session Flow
The session is 120 minutes long and consists of talks by the session organizers and the vendor representatives. The session begins with an introduction to explain how the overall flow. This is followed by a general overview of the adaptive radiotherapy process to set the stage for the reminder of the session which consists of a "round" for each topic or column in the "Features" table. Each round begins with an 8 minute introduction to the topic and the features/tools to be discussed followed by a 5 minutes talk by three players. The first round will be skipped so this pattern repeats four times for rounds 2 to 5. Each player will present in two of the four rounds. Matching players to rounds was done using a survey so each player could rate (on a scale of 0-5) their interest in discussing a particular feature. During each round, the audience will be asked to complete a simple two question survey using a Wi-Fi connected device such as a smartphone. The first question involves ranking three features/tools in the order of priority that the audience member would like to see more effort allocated to them. These ranking will be used to assign number values to the cards from the adaptive radiotherapy card deck. The second question involves rating each of the seven features involved with a roudn. Finally, the audience can also post questions at any time during the session and these will be considered for discussion during the Q&A part of the session. | ![]() |
